Kali Malayalam Movie Review: Dulquer Salmaan New Movie Which Is Creating Lot's of buzz in Mollywood is Kali" has opened to positive reviews Audience & Fans Rated 4 out of 5.The Kali movie was released Saturday, March 26. While Rajesh Gopinandhan has written the story, Sameer Thahir has directed the Malayalam movie. The movie is the second project of Sai Pallavi, who rose to fame with her turn as Malar miss in “Premam” in 2015. Kali Malayalam Movie Review & Story Details

The story is all about how Siddharth's bad temper affects his marriage. Even though he tries to control his anger and behave well, at some point of time he looses his cool. What happens next should be seen on-screen. 

The first half runs on a smooth track of great editing and well-placed situations. Every muscular twitch on Dulquer's face brings about a genuineness of expression. There's a hint of humour in there too, and Dulquer executes with aplomb, both the emotions in tandem. Sai Pallavi keeps the Tamil flavour going to amiable effect in this film as well, and looks a good fit with Dulquer.

But anger becomes no laughing matter in the second half of the film, where the sinister pops its head amid moody settings and a long winding highway. Lurking dangers and the helplessness brought on by wrath offer a gripping second half, where the story takes a different route. The shift from the urban and routine to everything antithetic — dark, destructive and chaotic — is imagined and brought to great celluloid effect. Chemban Vinod and Vinayakan up the ominous factor.

The major credit for its success goes to writer Rajesh Gopinathan and director Sameer Thahir, who has executed the things well. Girish Gangadharan's cinematography and Gopi Sundar's music are bonus. Despite minor drawbacks and loopholes, the film turns out to be a good entertainer.
